This is the iPhone version of Breviarium Meum, which allows you to pray the traditional (1962 or earlier) Latin breviary of the Catholic Church wherever you go. You can download the texts up to a week in advance, so you can pray even when you dont have a network connection. A parallel translation of the breviary (English, Danish*, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese*, or Spanish) and a collection of Latin prayers and blessings are also included. Select the background color and text size you prefer.

Use Breviarium Meum HD instead on iPad.

Pray the breviary you know in a new way, or get to know for the first time the Roman Liturgy in the Usus Antiquior, considered by Summorum Pontificum a precious treasure to be preserved and made accessible to all the faithful.

• The Danish and Portuguese translations are still incomplete. Several languages lack a translation of the martyrology. An English translation is used for those portions of the office not available in the selected language.

Pros and cons of Breviarium Meum app for iPhone and iPad

Breviarium Meum app good for

Good App, very well for praying! But: Please update to GERMAN translation !!!!!!!! Then 5 stars!
This is a really slick app. No flipping back and forth through pages of a book, and the downloads are really fast. Everything is just there where you need it. Although parallel English translation can be configured though the settings, the small size of the iPhone screen doesnt really do it justice. No doubt it looks great on the iPad. Many thanks for making this available.
What a wonderful way to carry around and pray the Breviary wherever you go! Many thanks to the developer.
Very good but maybe add polish language. In Poland liturgia horarum its very expensive book and lots of people want pray with it but they cant. If You can help us and add pplish language.

Some bad moments

Finally an app for the traditional rite divine office. Many thanks to the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate for producing this app. Deo Gratias.
Thank you so much for making this app! May Jesus and Mary bless you and reward you forever!
This is terrific. You can pray the entire 1962 Breviary in English and Latin. It is perfect for clerics and laity. This is in the finest tradition of online breviaries like Laszlo Dobszays.
May you be showered with grace for making this amazing resource available to the faithful. And free! No bugs at all so far. The only recommendation I have is to include a cheat sheet page of what time each office is traditionally prayed.
I like this app; but why doesnt the view fill the whole screen of my iPad? Its a little window on the screen. Contrast with the iBreviary app. Quite by accident I discovered a small icon on the lower right that enlarges the page. Another question: in the settings link what is the "Dominus vobiscum" on/off button?
God bless the developers of this app. It is one of the best I have ever found. One suggestion: Would it be possible to include commemorations of feast days occurring on Sundays? Many, many thanks!
